My whole bubbly journey kicked off in 2021, right in the middle of the pandemic. Just like so many others, we were missing out on family birthdays and Christmases. But even with all the distance, I really wanted to send unique, thoughtful gifts to show our family heaps of love and let them know they were in our thoughts.

 

So, I ordered a spa gift set for a loved one. Here’s the fun twist: I accidentally typed in the WRONG shipping address! Yep, that spa set ended up on my doorstep!

 

And oh boy, am I glad it did!

 

I excitedly ripped open the box (oops, didn’t realize it was meant for my family at first!). What I found was… well, less than delightful. A cheap plastic container, products in plastic bottles (wrapped in even more plastic!), and a bunch of styrofoam at the bottom to make it look fuller. And then, just for kicks, I checked the labels – chemical soup! Phew, I dodged a bullet there; I would have been absolutely mortified if that had gone to my family!

 

That little mishap sparked a big idea! I knew there were amazing 'bath artists' out there – the folks in your neighborhood, in my neighborhood, and in cozy little corners all over the world – who whip up natural bath products with ingredients you can actually recognize. These aren't faceless corporations; these are real people, often working from their homes, garages, or even charming little farms! They pour their hearts into their quality products, supporting their families and local communities with creations made with love and ingredients you know and trust.

 

Our mission at FIZZESSE is to shine a spotlight on these incredible bath artists – all small producers in their regions! We want the whole wide world to discover their fantastic work and enjoy luxurious, natural gifts that are an absolute delight to experience and share.

 

And who’s on my dream team, you ask? There’s my wonderful husband Kirk, and our chief packing supervisors, Simon and Arthur – our furball feline friends who personally inspect (and occasionally nap on) every single box before it heads out!
